Materials:
- Popsicle sticks (mini or regular sized)
- Colored sharpies
- Hot glue
- Yarn
Instructions:
- Color the popsicle sticks on one side with sharpies. They can be any color for the turtle legs, head, and tail
- Hot glue them together in a snowflake shape
- Tie a long piece of colorful yarn around the center and wrap it 2-3 times around each side, covering the middle portion. Leave a long tail
- Begin weaving in a gods eye pattern, wrapping yarn around one popsicle stick then moving to the one beside it and repeating
- To change colors tie a new piece of yarn to the working yarn
- When the shell is complete, tie the end of the working yarn to the long tail from the first piece of yarn
- Draw on a face and toes on the turtle
