Make “No Mess” Slime in a Bottle

Materials:

  • Glue
  • Empty water bottle
  • Slime activator (see options below)
  • Sharpie
  • Food coloring (optional)

Slime Activator Options:

  • Store-bought slime activator
  • Water with a spoonful of borax
  • Contact lens solution with a small spoonful of baking soda

Instructions:

  1. Line up your first two fingers at the bottom of the water bottle and make a mark
  2. Put your pinky finger against that line and make a second mark
  3. Fill your bottle with glue to the first line
  4. Pour in slime activator (or borax/water mixture or contact lens solution/baking soda mixture) up to the second line, on top of the glue
  5. Optional: Add a few drops of food coloring
  6. Screw the cap on the bottle and shake until the slime begins to pull away from the sides of the bottle
  7. Dump the slime out and enjoy!
