Make a Penny Spinner!

Materials:

  • Cereal box cardboard
  • Sharpies
  • Hot glue
  • A cup for tracing a circle
  • A pencil
  • Pennies
  • Scissors
  • X-Acto Knife

Steps:

  1. Use a cup to trace circles on cardboard. Cut out the circles. Use an X-Acto knife to make a slit in the center for the penny (adult’s job!).
  2. Color the tops with any design.
  3. Attach the penny to the spinner by hot gluing it on the underside of the top (ask an adult for help with the hot glue!) When you are finished with the tops, you can easily peel off the glue and the penny is still perfectly usable.
