What is KPlay?
KPlay is the after school complement to KDay! Led by our talented teaching assistants, students are given the opportunity to explore their interests, continue learning and most importantly PLAY from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.!
KPlay’s curriculum is emergent, meaning we develop our curriculum catering to the interests of each groups’ students and the unique skills and knowledge each teacher brings to their classroom. No two years or classrooms will be the same – of course, there are some old favorites we incorporate year after year, but your child will serve as inspiration as we design activities and find meaningful learning opportunities each afternoon.
Once we get to know your children we will begin incorporating some multi-day projects (our KM class is currently working on a quilting project) and themed days and weeks that they will love!
A Typical Day at KPlay

Snack
We provide and serve a balanced snack each afternoon, generally a fresh fruit or vegetable served with something crunchy such as a chip, cracker, or popcorn. All teachers complete allergy awareness trainings each year and we are happy to work with you to ensure your child’s nutritional needs are being met.
2020-21 KPlay Tuition
| Full-Time (Monday – Friday) | $500 per month |
| One to Four Days per Week* | $150 per day, per month |
| Added Single Day | $50 per day |
* For example, a family with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday KPlay schedule would be charged $450 each month.
