KDay – the WCCC Kindergarten Program

What is KDay?

During the summer of 2020 we saw an opportunity to provide safe, in-person learning to kindergarten children in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, opening our doors on September 15th to twenty eager kindergarten students. With small class sizes, a low student-to-teacher ratio, and curriculum that focuses on the whole child,  within weeks we realized this is how kindergarten should be taught.

Here are some things that set us apart from other kindergarten options:

  • Small class sizes with low student-to-teacher ratios.
  • Child-centered curriculum designed to facilitate academic and socioemotional growth.
  • Aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards and taught by licensed teachers.

Our Facility

We were fortunate to find the perfect space for our school at a church in Weston previously occupied by an early childhood program with fantastic outdoor space. It is conveniently located in close proximity to routes 95, 20 and 30 and only fifteen minutes from our Early Childhood Program located on the Wellesley College campus.
