February Vacation Full-Day Program

7:30am – 6pm @ Bates Elementary School

 

Spaces for Tues. 2/18, Wed. 2/19, and Thurs. 2/20 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  You can fill out and submit the form to shawn@wcccwellesley.org or pass it in to your child’s site coordinator.  Please submit payment for the day(s) through your bank or mail a check to the office.

Here’s what we’ve got lined up for this year’s vacation days:

Tuesday 2/18:

All Grades: Rock Spot Climbing

Wednesday 2/19:

K-1st Grade: Bouncy House!

2nd-5 Grade:  Snowtubing at Nashoba Valley

Thursday 2/20: 80’s Day!

All Grades: Roller Kingdom

Tuesday – Jump On In (Woburn)

Wednesday – Franklin Park Zoo

Thursday – ECOtarium

Friday – Blue Hills Reservation

 

We will be running a program at Schofield Elementary School during April Vacation week on Tuesday 4/16, Wednesday 4/17, Thursday 4/18, and Friday 4/19, from 7:30 (new option!) or 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day.  In order to sign your child(ren) up for these separately contracted days, you must fill out and return the form (with payment) to the After School office or your site coordinator by Wednesday 4/10 at the latest. 

Note: spaces fill up fast and spots are NOT guaranteed.

February Vacation Full Day Program Details:

 

Tuesday 2/19 will feature a dinosaur theme with a show by the Dino Man himself in the afternoon!

On Wednesday 2/20, the 2nd-5th graders will embark on our traditional trip to Nashoba Valley to go snow tubing (weather permitting), while our K-1st graders will enjoy a pizza lunch plus a visit from the Animal Affair Traveling Petting Zoo, featuring goats, piglets, bunnies, chickens, and – last but not least – a duck!

 

Thursday 2/21 will feature a science and circus theme.  In the morning, Mad Science of North Boston will be performing its show “Up, Up, and Away!”, which illustrates the principles of air pressure through super cool experiments, and in the afternoon, variety/circus artist Peter Paradoxx will be performing his amazing LED show!
