Congratulations to Nicole Landa Cavallaro on completing the Boston Marathon! Thank you to everyone who came to cheer her on and for your generous donations to WCCC. Nicole has raised $12,477.95 for WCCC. The funds she raised will be used to provide financial aid to children in our after-school program who would be unable to attend without this support. Introducing our 2026 Boston Marathon Runner!

We are thrilled to introduce Nicole Landa Cavallaro, who will proudly run the 130th Boston Marathon on behalf of WCCC this year! Nicole is a dedicated WCCC parent, with two children enrolled in our programs: her son in the Early Childhood Program and her daughter in the Hunnewell After School Program. WCCC has played an important role in her family’s life, providing her children with meaningful opportunities to grow, explore their passions, and nurture their creativity and curiosity.

As President of WCCC’s Board, Nicole has seen firsthand how every donation directly supports our mission and makes a lasting difference for children and families. She hopes to show her children that with determination, you can take on big challenges!

Daniel Roellinger is Running for WCCC!

I am excited to introduce you to Daniel Roellinger, who will run the 129th Boston Marathon for WCCC this year! Dan’s friends Tristan and Cathy Lubinski made Dan aware of the opportunity. Tristan and Cathy have a son, Calvin, who attends WCCC’s After School Program at Schofield.

Daniel has dreamed of running the Boston Marathon. After much hard work, he qualified for the Boston Marathon this year, but he learned that the qualifying time had been changed due to the large number of applicants. Daniel’s time was 35 seconds too low, and he could not pursue his dream. Daniel’s luck changed when we picked his name. We feel lucky, too, that Daniel will run for WCCC.

We have a fantastic community, and amazing staff and teachers! Like many organizations, we are still recovering from the impact of COVID, and I’m raising money to help offset some of those costs. WCCC is lucky to have two members of its community running the upcoming Boston Marathon this Monday, October 11, and raising money for our programs! Julia Miwa and Shannon Beale have trained long and hard, and we cannot wait to cheer them on!

Virtual Enrollment Tours

Prospective parents will have the opportunity to hear all about our program and ask any questions you may have. 2020 FUN RUN Silent Auction

In an effort to still raise the funds that support the Wellesley Community Children’s Center, we are excited to offer our 40th Annual Silent Auction virtually this year! We will showcase the donations we have received from area businesses and our WCCC community. Our in-person event is always a huge success and we hope our new platform will bring success as well. We appreciate your support.

Once on the site, you will need to create an account using your name, email, and password – it’s as simple as that! We encourage you to write down your username and password so that you can easily log-in again or select “keep me logged in” when creating the account.

Our Auction will run from Monday, June 8th @ 8am to Saturday, June 13th @ 9pm – you can bid at any point within that time frame. To view all 116 wonderful baskets, simply click on the green “View All Items” button! You can also view and save items before the auction begins so we encourage you to browse the items this weekend if you have the chance.

Due to COVID-19, we will be running a physically distant, low-contact exchange of payment and goods. Winners will pick up their items at the WCCC Early Childhood Center and will receive further details at the close of the auction. Payments must be made with personal check, bank check, or exact dollar amount cash and will be collected at the time of pickup.
